Bikes for growing riders, with cover for parents

Children outgrow bikes quickly, which is why refurbished kids bikes make sense. At refurbed, each bike is a previously ridden model that experts have checked, cleaned and repaired where needed before selling it with a min. 12-month warranty, at up to 40% less than new.

  • Save up to 40% vs new: junior bikes from Bemoov and Kross.
  • Refurbished by experts: checked and, where needed, repaired before sale.
  • Min 12-month warranty: reassurance when little riders are tough on equipment.
  • 30-day free trial and free returns: time to see whether the size fits.
  • Delivery included: no extra shipping cost.
  • Flexible payment methods: pay your way.

Who it is for

  • Parents of first-time riders: a sturdy bike for the first rides after balance practice.
  • Families with siblings: a bike that can be passed on to the next child.
  • Gift givers: grandparents and relatives looking for something that lasts.
  • Active kids: riders who are ready for a lighter, sportier junior bike.

How to choose

Size

Kids bikes are generally sized by wheel diameter, and the product page lists the size of each model. The Bemoov range includes the M12, M14 and M16, so there are several steps.

Child’s height and inside leg

The best fit lets a child sit with feet reaching the ground and hands comfortably on the bars. Measuring height, and checking the size recommendation from the maker, helps match the two.

Weight and handling

Lighter bikes are easier for small riders to steer and lift. Junior mountain-style models such as the Kross Level 1.0 Jr and Level 2.0 Jr are built for sporty riding.

Brakes and gears

Simple brakes are easy for small hands, and fewer gears keep things straightforward for beginners. Listings give the details for each model.

Growing room

A bike that is a little too big can be hard to control, so it is worth choosing the size that fits now rather than one to grow into. Refurbished bikes make it easier to move up a size when the time comes.

Condition

Each listing describes the condition of the bike, and every item is checked by experts and comes with the min. 12-month warranty.

Brands and models on the page

The range features Bemoov and Kross. Bemoov M12, M14 and M16 cover smaller sizes, while Kross Level 1.0 Jr and Level 2.0 Jr are junior models from a well-known bike maker. The selection changes, so the listings show what is currently available.

Refurbished vs new

A refurbished kids bike costs up to 40% less than a new one and gives a product a second life, so fewer new bikes need to be made. That makes it more sustainable vs new, which matters when a child may only use a bike for a couple of seasons.

Refurbished vs second hand

A used bike from a private seller usually has no warranty, no technical check and no assurance about brakes and wheels. Refurbished kids bikes are inspected by experts, described with their condition and covered by a min. 12-month warranty.
