Fender American Professional II Stratocaster Olympic White 2021 Modified Electri

This is a modified Fender American Professional II Stratocaster in Olympic White finish. Made in the USA in 2021, this instrument features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body and Maple neck with 22 fret Maple fingerboard. Nickel/Chrome hardware is fitted including a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles & a set of Fender Standard/Staggered tuning machines. A loaded pickguard has been fitted to the instrument, with a trio of Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups installed. These pickups are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck/middle tone & bridge tone controls, with a push/push on the bridge tone which adds the neck pickup in positions 1 & 2.

The Maple neck of this guitar features several refinements over Fender’s standard necks, including the Deep ‘C’ profile, rolled fingerboard edges and ‘Super-Natural’ satin finish to the rear. This all adds up to a sophisticated playing experience that will suit many styles, feeling articulate, smooth and precise. Players who use the thumb are well accommodated by the rolled edges, and the narrow tall frets assist with fast notes, bending and vibrato. The sculpted neck heel is a nice modern touch which improves access to the upper frets. The Rosewood of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and along with the Narrow Tall frets delivers a smooth & durable playing surface to explore.

The trio of Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups that have been installed in this guitar are a nice subtle modification which really improves the overall performance of the instrument, eliminating all of the noise which is inherent with standard single-coil pickups. All of the Strat sounds you would expect are present in spades. The neck pickup offers warmth and clarity, and saturates beautifully when you drive the amp. The brightness of the middle and bridge pickups provide articulation and clarity, whilst retaining a bell-like chime. The addition of the push-push bridge tone control allows you to temper the brilliance of the bridge pickup and makes for a unique and slightly more mellow sound, and also offers the option to engage all three pickups in position 2 for a beefier tone.
